In cooperation* with TU Dresden (Prof. Gaponik) we have developed metallic hydrogels and aerogels - stable networks consisting of nanoparticles of noble metals. The materials were successfully tested for the use as inks for direct electrically conductive ink-jet printing.
Aerogels are available from PlasmaChem as a custom-based synthesis. Please get in contact with us to provide us more information about your product requirements and volumes.
Table below gives an overview of possible aerogels and their properties. The values provided are exemplary and can vary slightly from batch to batch.
* The work was supported by Bundesministerium für Witschaft und Energie (03ET1523A/03ET1523B)
